Uttara Recreation Club Ltd. is a private social club that provides a wide range of services to its members and guests. The club celebrates the customs of its community traditions while offering the facilities and amenities needed to satisfy the same thinking people.

Its members value it as a showplace of timeless elegance and prestige and recognize its exceptional atmosphere.

The URCL is one of the state-of-the-art clubs in the region. It stands at its premises covering around 3.75 katha of land dated August 2021, in sector 05, Road#9/A, House#19 of Uttara residential area in the capital. It has become a networking hub for 450 members (Founder Member#28, Donor Member#02, Permanent Member#337, Lifetime Member# 89, Foreign National Member #01, Honorary Member#03 (Lifetime).

The Uttara Recreation Club Ltd. traces its roots to November 2nd, 2014 when a few residents of the Uttara area met at a House to discuss the formation of a club styled ‘Uttara Recreation Club Limited.’

On August 20th, 2014, twenty-eight persons (Founder Members) sat with a vision to establish the community club, forming the first Board of Directors (BOD)/Executive Committee of the club under the leadership of the first URCL President, Sheikh Jashim Uddin Ahamed.
